1. Install the Free Shopify App (linked here)

  • If you came to this page from Shopify, you must have already installed the App.  Go ahead and Sign up. 
  • If you have not installed the free Yakit Shopify app, click on link to the left.
  • Carrier Calculated Shipping feature in Shopify is required for the Yakit App to work. 
  • Alternatively: You can continue to Step 2 and sign up for Yakit on this landing page and check out the system.  When you install the Shopify (or WordPress) App simply link to your previously created Yakit account via Login.

2. Fill in details in Signup tab

  • In this step you will create a Yakit account and link it to your Shopify (or WordPress) store.
  • (If you already have a Yakit Account, just Login)
  • After Sign up is done, you can check to see if your store is linked via the Channels page.
  • (For Etsy, WooCommerce and ShipStation, go to the Channels page and click on Add Channels.)
  • "Show rates in your shopping cart" should be automatically enabled in your Channels page - if not, check your Shopify "Carrier Calculated Shipping feature".  You may disable "Show rates in your shopping cart" to disable rates if you are not ready to take your store live.

3. Add your  DHL Express, FedEx Express or UPS account numbers

  • By default we use our rates to quote landed cost.
  • If you want to print labels via Yakit, then you need to provide your Account number.
  • You can configure these accounts in the Yakit Preferences screen.

4. Pricing - how does it work?

  • You pay your carrier for your shipping and billed duties/taxes, as you do today
  • Your first 50 quotes are free!  We are certain you will see enhanced Conversions to boost your top line.

  • Payments are via Yakit Tokens - buy them in the Preferences->Account->Payment page.
  • All payment credits are fully refundable if not used.  So go ahead, top off your account and watch your orders come in.  Happy selling!
