If you need to make a copy of a Yakit shipment (which can be useful if you need to ship a replacement order, or want to ship a backordered item from a previous order), please do the following :
1. From your Open Shipments tab, select the shipment that you wish to copy
2. Press the "Copy Shipment" button
3. In the Copy Shipment window, set the customer reference # of the copy shipment (notice that Yakit automatically adds a suffix (e.g., -1 or -2) to the original order number. You may overwrite this. Doing this will help differentiate copied orders from the original)
4. Press the "Copy" button
6. The 'Copy' shipment will appear on your Open Shipments tab with the customer reference # you set in step #2 above.
If you need to split a shipment (which can be useful when you need to ship an order partially, or have a large order that needs to be shipped as multiple shipments), please do the following :
1. From your Open Shipments tab, select the shipment that you wish to split, by selecting the checkbox on the far left
2. Press the "Split Shipment" button
3. In the Split Shipment window, set the customer reference # of the split shipment (notice that Yakit automatically adds a suffix (e.g., -1 or -2) to the original order number. You may overwrite this. Doing this will help differentiate split orders from the original)
4. Enter the line item qty you wish to split off into the split order
5. Press the "Split" button
6. The 'Split' shipment will appear on your Open Shipments tab with the customer reference # you set in step #2 above.
